Golden Hour Romance & a Night to Remember at Maketewah Country Club
Some weddings have an energy that sticks with you—an infectious kind of joy that fills every moment, from the first excited hug to the last dance of the night. Kari and Drew’s wedding at Maketewah Country Club was exactly that. Their day was filled with the kind of love and laughter that radiated from them and spilled over to everyone around them.

A Ceremony Straight Out of a Dream
Set against the stately elegance of Maketewah’s historic clubhouse,
their ceremony felt like something out of a storybook.
The architecture provided a stunning backdrop, but it was the pure emotion in the air that made the moment truly breathtaking. As they exchanged vows, the late afternoon light cast a dreamy glow over the scene—one of those perfectly timed moments that felt almost cinematic.
Sunset Magic & Golden Hour Perfection
After the ceremony, we stole a few quiet moments with the newlyweds for portraits on the golf course. The rolling greens, the soft golden light, and the pure happiness on their faces made for some of the most magical images of the day.
There’s something about sunset photos that always feels intimate—just the couple, taking a deep breath together before the night’s celebration begins.
A Reception That Brought the House Down
And what a celebration it was. The reception kicked off with heartfelt toasts that had everyone both laughing and tearing up, a testament to how loved these two are. Then, the live band took over, and the party did not slow down. The dance floor was packed all night, filled with the kind of unfiltered joy that makes wedding receptions so unforgettable.
