Among these cherished rituals is the vibrant “Haldi Ceremony.” This pre-wedding celebration, also known as the “Turmeric Ceremony,” is a joyous affair symbolizing love, purity, and blessings. The couple is adorned with a fragrant paste made from turmeric and other auspicious ingredients, applied by family members amidst laughter and music. This tradition not only beautifies the bride and groom but also signifies the warding off of evil spirits and the blessing of a radiant union.
